As a student assistant for the university, he showed leadership by being the lead in the graphics department for Campus Recreation in the Recreation Center and at the Channel Islands Boating Center for three years. He specializes in photography and graphic design and incorporates it within his time-based media work. Throughout his four years at Campus Recreation, he has expertise in creating eye catching posters for students along with branding the Channel Islands Boating Center with creating multiple brochures, flyers and booklets for CSU Channel Islands students in addition to community members.

One of his current projects is to create a video using photographs and video footage that he has shoot within the last three years for the Watersports Camp sponsored by CSU Channel Islands. The project is to promote the camp that is offered by the university where there are many scholarship opportunities. His goal for this project is to invite children ages eight to sixteen of all ethnic groups and social classes. This project was recently completed and is now on the CSU Channel Islands Campus Recreation webpage. This project was also used to give a copy to the Department of Boating and Waterways to help with getting a grant.

He grew up and currently lives in Agoura Hills, California where he is consistently developing more artwork.
